welcome to my new video. i will show you how to update the firmware of your action cam sj4000. under this video you'll find a link. there you can find the latest update... ...and find many other information about the sj4000 and other action cams with tests and advices. here we got my cam. already switched on. here we can see [sorry, for the blur!] the firmware of april. now, i want to have the new firmware. at first, i have to remove my micro sd card.

switch off the device. remove micro sd card. insert the micro sd in the sd adapter. now i download the latest firmware on this site. the link for this site is under this video. here are two links, one is for the new screen, the other one for the old one. if you don't know, which screen you have, check the link under the video. i need this one... it is downloaded.

here it is. leave the file name like it is! do not rename it! i drag the file... ...on my (empty!) card... you have to delete everything from the card. when you've done everything like this, then you remove the card,... ...insert it into the cams micro sd slot,... ...and switch on the cam. you can see the led is dimly lit, the screen is black.

it remains like this for 15-30 sec. the firmware is installing. now it should turn on. let's have a look... the settings are now on default in english language. now i have the firmware of may. the last thing you have to do is... ...to delete the .bin file from the micro sd. if you don't the install process will start every time you switch on the cam. formatting...

...done! just set up your preferred settings and have fun with your sj4000. that's it!
