color os is oppo's user interface when oppo came to egypt , we saw color os 2.0 after that , it was updated to color os 2.1 oppo updated the color os to v3.0 in the oppo f1 plus we saw several changes in the design & performance here's khaled mohamed from android empire and color os v3.0 review color os v3.0 is based on android lollipop the design is different from the previous versions icon pack & colours are much better in this version

but still color os doesn't have app drawer so your applications will appear on homescreen the notificationspanel is similar to that of miui you'll find the toggles in a page & the incoming notifications in a separated page you can control the appearance of notifications but you can't control the toggles you can download several themes from the theme store & choose from them there's free themes and paid themes but in color os , themes won't theme everything it can change the wallpaper & icon pack but it can't change the applications colours or design

you have lockscreen magazines here it'll change the lockscreen wallpaper automatically you can turn it on , subscribe for what you prefer choose what you want now after locking the screen and unlocking it again every time you do that you'll see a different wallpaper it's only from the categories you choosed home screen settings is a bit different from before it's easier to customize it & change the widgets it's better than before but still the same customization nothing new

battery consumption in this version is really a good point it's much better than the previous versions of colour os after using super fast fingerprint sensors , now it's easy to protect your apps, files , and photos you can control that from oppo's security center which has clean up , privacy permissions , virus scannner let's check privacy permissions you have here app encryption , control app permissions startup manager to control which app to start after booting floating window & privacy protection to change the privacy of your files to private the clean up option helps to get rid of cached data instead of using 3rd party applications

virus scan will help you in removing malwares & adwares from your device and protect it from the annoying things in color os is that you can't see the screen on time or even the battery consumption of any app most of userinterfaces have special features.. in color os you have eye protection it decreases the blue light from the screen because it can make it hard for you to sleep another feature is the quiet mode .. it put's you phone in silent mode but with exceptions you can choose the people you want to receive notfications , calls , messages from them it's not fair to talk about color os and don't mention it's gestures when you double tap on the screen it opens instead of power button

and if you want to open the camera just draw o letter on the screen drawing v letter will turn on flashlight and pause sign will turn on/off music you can make a custom gesture to open a certain app from your choise the ram management is good .. it's not very high and also it's not perfect it's average applications starting speed is very good it was improved the design of music app was changed but noting new in it..there's no new features the most preferred app for me in the backup & restore app
