hi guys this is puneet and in this video i'm going to show you how you can fool your friends as well playstore with the help of build.prop file. if you are then let me tell what is build.prop file build properties aka build.prop is a file in system folder of your phone which defines the a-z details of your phone model, brand, android version etc

sector you can week big bro you can tweak build.prop to change the way your device behaves. you can boost internet's speed change phone's specifications change/increase system performance make almost all apps compatible or trick websites to display a tablet interface so guys for doing this it requires that your phone should be rooted. so first check the thing that your phone is rooted or not

before attempting this and i must recommend you so for doing this let's started. so what we have to do isss to download an app named root explorer aaaa let me show you how does it looks sorry i am not showing it on my playstore coz i just broke my playstore and it isn't working so i'll show you on browser

so as you can see it does looks like this. so i'd recommend you to install this app first and then after installing this app open root explorer so now what you have to do is to go back and back. and then find a folder name system

at the bottom. you can find a file name build.prop. i'd strongly recommend you to make a backup up this file as you cansee i've already backed it up as name build.prop.bak this is my backup file. if anything happens to my phone i'll restore this backup and then everything i hope everything will come to its normal form so open this build.prop file as you can see

it have some kind of text in it but we requires to edit it first simply mmm open with and then click on text editor so here as you can see the file opens in the mode of text editor so now what do you have to do to simply findsome things that i'm telling you

first find a file name ro.build.version.release as you can see i've changed it to android 4.4.4 but my phone doesn't runs on kitkat it turns on android jelly bean 4.2.1 when i've changed it to 4.4.4 it helps you to fool google play that you are running on a very high android version

so the incompatible apps can be compatible with your phone and then if you want to change your model name, brand name and a device name you can change it here as you can see on the name i've clicked there's known as micromax a110q. you can change it as nexus five makes this

i'm sorry five so i've changed it to nexus5 but everyone knows that it doesn't runs or my phone is not a nexus5 device and doesn't runs on android kitkat but still i am able to do this you can do as like change the model/brand name as it is micromax but i am changing it to lge becausenexus5 was created by lge and then there is still

two things as like product.name, product.device i can still edit them and change them to nexus5 guys as much as i'm concerned. that this is only the basic things it you should know before doing high end changes in this build.prop file so i am not taking you to the higher thing first

late to get some i know expertise in this knowing things than i will tellyou how to change or how make your phone even more compatible faster these tweaks that we are going to do at the higher-level inthis build.prop file but remember one thing doing this might stuck your phone into bootloop or can brickyour phone not me neither the developers are
